Journal Writing Prompt: Silence & Value
“Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life, but define yourself.”
~ Harvey S. Firestone
In your journal, seriously consider this: Who is defining your life? Are you allowing someone else to tell you what you are worth – what your life is? Are you living quietly or, are you living out loud, confident in the knowledge that you are a survivor, not a victim?
Journal Writing Prompt Bonus: Take some time to ponder What the difference is between a survivor and a victim? Both have had something life-changing happen to them. So, what’s the difference? How do you see yourself…are you a survivor, or a victim?
Happy Journaling!
