Journal Writing Prompt: Risk
“Risk! risk anything. Care no more for the opinions of others, for those voices. Do the hardest thing on earth for you. Act for yourself.”
~Katherine Mansfield
In your journal, write about how hard it is for you to risk anything, and risk everything. For some, this seems to be an easy process, and others have great difficulty with any risk. Where do you fall on this sliding scale? Are you a risk taker or a risk avoider? Why? If you are willing to take “calculated risks”, how do you make the determination on which risks are “worth” taking?
Journal Writing Prompt Bonus: If you are a risk taker, write about a risk you took that had the greatest results. If you are a risk avoider, write about a risk that, in hind sight, you feel you should have taken and didn’t. How has that experienced changed you?
Happy Journaling!
