There were a number of ancient Philosophers who focused on seeking “the good, the true, and the light”. And, I believe that in this context, Plato is looking at the “light” with that view.
Does persistence and determination alone make all the difference? Or, is there something more that comes into play?

There are two emerging sides to the truth, it seems. One side says that truth is absolute – no matter what, it is always the same – this appears to be the side of the argument that Winston Churchill falls on.
The other side says truth is fluid ….

One of the great uses of writing in your journal daily is to, as Jim Rohn says, “gather up your past” so that you will be able to learn & draw from those experiences for the future.

Self Discipline is an interesting thing, really. Sometimes, we can be very self-disciplined in some areas of our lives, but, have absolutely no self discipline in other areas of our life. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your own self-discipline level overall?
