In your journal, ponder today’s quote.? Is the source of self respect a willingness to accept responsibility for your own life?? Or is there more to it?? Does that willingness to accept responsibility for your own life play a role in self respect?? Do you agree that character is defined as the willingness to accept responsibility for your own life?? Why or why not?

Journal writing prompt bonus:? In your journal, list the qualities that a person has that you consider a person of character?? Are these qualities the same for everyone you consider persons of character?? Is it different, according to the person?? What is your internal definition of a person with character?
